When I met Tanya and learnt of her unshaken strong drive to raise awareness on the overwhelming amount of incest still going on in society today, I felt it very inspiring.

As a young man with a privileged upbringing, I’m honoured to be a part of the No Laughing Matter project and know that is now shining a very bright light on this very sensitive and underrepresented topic."

Henry was a producer of Australian TV drama, having been ’show runner’ for many hundreds of hours of top-rated series, including the Emmy award-winning miniseries, ‘A Town Like Alice’.

He managed several Australian concert tours including 'The Liberace Show' and the 'Glen Campbell Show' - both with symphony orchestras.

Says Henry “I am a passionate believer in Tanya’s positive contribution to the world. I've been fortunate to have been able to make some modest suggestions and engineer some introductions from the beginning of her journey. In the scheme of things my input has been modest but I have had the privilege of travelling hand in hand with her imagination and successes. This very personal project has been one of her real passions and has been achieved with very limited funding, so I’m really grateful to those who have helped Tanya along the way."

I started the NLM project in my head many years ago. Then in 2019, it became a reality with a very long to-do list. Along the way, I gained many supporters who have dedicated their time and skills to help me produce, what I believe to be, a very important awareness campaign for all of us to sit up and take note of.

I have been surrounded by people who have been affected by incestuous child sexual abuse all my life. The fact that several members of my extended family and close acquaintances have experienced this form of abuse, has had a significant effect on me. I have seen what this does to a person’s life and psychological wellbeing. I hope that this podcast series makes a difference by showing the world how widespread and how devastating intra-familial child sexual abuse really is.

In addition to the No Laughing Matter podcast project being dedicated to the memory of my Aunty Helen and cousin Kellie, I would also like to extend the dedication to my beautiful Mum Joan, and my sweet-hearted Grandmothers Edna and Corrie.
