The No Laughing Matter team is a start-up business with almost no income. The team consists of two people working on the project part-time and asking plenty of favours from friends and contacts. We desperately require more funds to ensure additional podcasts can be produced, along with our campaign to raise awareness of incest and then call for the government to provide a 24-hour counselling service, specifically for incest victim/survivors (current and past). We also want better education about incest in all schools. Our aim is to radically reduce the alarming statistics of incest in Australia.

As you can imagine, sadly, during COVID lockdown times, child sexual abuse in the family home could significantly increase.  This makes our call even more urgent.
